Rikard Samuelsson

Rikard Samuelsson specialises in dispute resolution before Swedish courts and arbitral tribunals, as well as in proceedings before public authorities. He has experience of commercial disputes both as counsel and from his prior service as a judge in the Swedish courts.

During his judicial career, Rikard served, among other appointments, at the Patent and Market Court of Appeal within the Svea Court of Appeal, where he handled intellectual property and tenancy disputes, challenges to arbitral awards, and other complex civil litigation.

As a senior lawyer at the Centre for Justice, Rikard represented clients in legally significant matters against the Swedish state and public authorities, including matters concerning the protection of property rights.

He has also lectured on courses in procedural law.
